Auditions for Shrek the Musical! YATS will be holding auditions for its fall show, Shrek the Musical! There will be five performances, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20 October 2024, at Le Point d’Eau in Ostwald. Shrek the Musical is based on the DreamWorks film and uses heart and irreverent humor to show the importance of looking past outward appearances to find what truly matters. Filled with great songs and a genuinely funny script, this show is a crowd-pleaser for audiences of all ages! YATS also offers two free Pre-audition workshops that are open to all. Although not required to audition, these workshops are designed to give people interested in auditioning the opportunity to feel more comfortable with the process. Why not join the YATS…

Annie Jr, Seussical, Beauty and the Beast, Fame Jr, Anything Goes, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Grease, Oklahoma, Annie, Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof…. and ?????? Fiddler on the Roof – viewing at the Vox on January 21 On October 22 Fiddler on the Roof was the most successful fall musical in the ten-year history of YATS. It broke every previous record for tickets sold, audience attendance and fundraising. Tickets are going fast for Fiddler on the Roof    Fiddler on the Roof ticket sales are breaking records! Tickets for the 5 performances, on October 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22 at Le Point d’Eau, Ostwald, are selling fast. A word from new YATS President, Sarah Bachmann Having served as YATS Vice President since 2020, it is with great pride and happiness that I have taken on the role of President! Along with the YATS family, I would like to thank my predecessor, Paul Bikard, for his leadership and dedication over the past 3 years and am happy to report that he will be continuing as YATS Treasurer on our Executive Board.    I have been part of this wonderful project since its creation and have watched many young people and parents grow together in a creative and innovative way. This Stephen Karam play explores the themes of connection and disappointment as the Blake family meet in Brigid and Richard’s new Manhattan apartment to celebrate Thanksgiving. This 2015 play won numerous awards including the Tony for Best Play.
