Would you believe that YATS will showcase its 13th autumn musical production this year? Thanks to the dedication of our members and volunteers, combined with the passion of our actors and backstage crew, YATS has become a vibrant community that families are eager to join. Our shows are now a key part of the cultural scene in Strasbourg and our reputation keeps growing stronger. Following the incredible success of Shrek the Musical, we can’t wait to see how many new kids will join us for auditions and workshops in May. Shrek the Musical Thanks You! Welcoming our largest audience ever, 2,200 theater-goers enjoyed the five performances of Shrek the Musical, which not only proved to be a crowd-pleaser for all ages, but allowed YATS to showcase the talents of its 56 young actors cast and backstage crew, the biggest yet. With Shrek came the opportunity to welcome 17 new young actors to the YATS family, and we hope to get to know them better at future YATS workshops and performance events. For the Shrek cast and crew families, friends and numerous volunteers who helped with the shows, the executive board gives you our heartfelt appreciation. Shrek the Musical is SOLD OUT! Tickets for all five fall performances of Shrek the Musical are sold-out on 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20 October 2024, at Le Point d’Eau in Ostwald. Antonia de Rendinger YATS Garden Party Fundraiser :: Master of Ceremonies Si nous avons fait appel à Antonia pour ce fundraising, c’est parce qu’elle est une personnalité artistique reconnue au delà des Vosges. Alors si vous ne la connaissez que parce qu’elle a maquillé vos enfants pour Fiddler on the Roof, voici un petite résumé. De 2012 à 2014, Antonia a marqué l’émission de Laurent Ruquier « on ne demande qu’à en rire » dont elle a été une des figures de proue pendant deux saisons. On la retrouve aussi régulièrement sur TF1 chez Arthur ou au festival de Montreux, au Marrakech du Rire, dans des sketchs où elle campe souvent des personnages hauts en couleur.
