Six weeks to go

Since Wednesday our cast of Young Actors have been rehearsing six hours a day at Le Point d’Eau in Ostwald to ensure The Music Man is YATS’ slickest show yet. There’s choreography to learn, costumes to be fit, songs to harmonize, music to cue, and scenes to practice. On Monday everyone goes back to school, but they’ll continue rehearsing their dance moves, their lines, and their songs at home and 3 times a week at the European School of Strasbourg until October. Then, the week before opening night, they’ll return to the theater to rehearse under lights, with microphones, full costumes, a full set and scene changes.

In short, it’s an intense six week period that requires our cast to balance their school lives with those of (semi) professional actors. Hard work? Yes, but the smiles and the excitement generated are worth every second!

Tickets are selling fast – with over 400 already snapped up The Music Man has already out-sold our Summer show A little Night Music. So, don’t hang around, book your seats, like, right now!
