Some years ago, a YouTube channel called @youngactorstheaterstrasbou1994 was created and used to upload YATS videos. It contains recordings from 2021, including our lockdown Zoom choir performances and a behind-the-scenes video from the very first (outdoor) rehearsal of Oklahoma, our first public production after Covid restrictions.
The problem is that nobody on the current YATS team knows who created the channel or has access to it anymore. As a result, we’ve had to start again with a new YouTube channel: @yatstrasbourg. BUT – two YATS channels are not better than one!
We’d still love to regain access to the original channel if we can. We have a vague memory that it may have been set up by the father of one of the performers in the 2020/2021 cast, but we’re far from certain. And then there’s the channel name itself. Why does it end with “1994”? We have no idea, but perhaps that means something to someone.
So we’re asking for your help. If you’re a former YATS performer, a parent, or simply remember anything about the channel, we’d love to hear from you. Even the smallest clue, suspicion or half-forgotten memory could help us track down the person who set it up.
