Shows: How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Cabaret, Grease, Spring Awakening
What are you doing now?
I am currently studying medicine at the Faculty of Medicine in Strasbourg. I will begin my fifth year in September, splitting my time between hospital rotations and school!
Are you still involved in the performing arts?
After completing my first post-graduation year in Norway, I spent time in the small town of Hønefoss, where I participated in a musical program. That year, I had the opportunity to work on the Norwegian production of Legally Blonde, while also improving my Norwegian language skills. Since then, medical school has taken up the majority of my time, leaving me with little opportunity to engage in the arts—sadly! This is why getting involved in Spring Awakening feels especially meaningful and exciting. Returning to acting and singing with YATS has been an incredibly rewarding experience.
What does YATS mean to you?
YATS has been a significant part of my personal and professional growth. Playing different roles on stage has allowed me to gain deeper insights into both myself and human interactions. The bonds you form with fellow cast members are particularly strong, as putting on a show is often an intense, collaborative process. For me, returning to YATS feels like coming home to a supportive family, where I can truly be myself and express myself freely.
